Visual interpretations of our environment which explore light, form, and color expressed in watercolor, acrylic, and oil.

Ms. Fisher works in watercolor, acrylic, and oil. Her paintings explore light, form, atmosphere, and color with mood and movement. She is influenced by the French Impressionists and by many abstract artists. She often worked outdoors as a plein air artist on location but now spends most of her time in her studio. She views her art as visual expressions and romantic interpretations of life around her. Ms. Fisher’s paintings are in private collections and her award-winning art has been exhibited in numerous competitions.

The focus of her art is on Expressionism. The difference between Expressionism and Abstract Art is that Expressionism does not necessarily abandon all figural or representational elements. It can often use elements of abstraction to create an emotional effect and may utilize diverse techniques to convey non-traditional and non-representational images.
